The sixth film in the Jurassic Park series that kicked off in 1990, Jurassic World: Dominion marks the final chapter in the saga. Seeing a return of the star cast from the first film, sharing screen space with others like Chris Pratt who have featured in the newer releases, the film has created quite a buzz. While Jurassic World: Dominion is set to open in the US market later this week on June 10, the film has already hit screens in 15 overseas markets.

Not surprisingly, Jurassic World: Dominion, which comes as the final chapter in a rather well known and widely watched saga has taken off to a good start. In fact, the film saw a staggering USD 55.4 million [Rs. 430.12 cr] coming in from the 15 overseas markets on its opening weekend. Drawing in a whopping USD 33.2 million from just two markets, viz. Mexico seeing collections of USD 18.1 million and South Korea raking in USD 15.1 million, Jurassic World: Dominion is off to a good start. if that was not enough, when compared to Hollywood releases post the pandemic, Jurassic World: Dominion has opened third behind previous releases like Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Currently, the film continues to draw in audience in these markets, with a release scheduled for later this week in other key locations like China, the U.K., Spain, Australia, Germany, and France the business of the film is certain to see a massive jump in global collections.
