ISLAMABAD – The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has decided to lift additional non-pharmaceutical interventions (NPIs) in six high risk districts due to gradual decline in Covid disease prevalence. The decision was taken at an NCOC meeting, chaired by Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar here on Tuesday. The additional restrictions have been removed in the districts of Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Sargodha, Gujrat and Bannu. The general non-pharmaceutical interventions would remain enforced till 30th of this month across the country which would be reviewed by the NCOC on 28th of this month. The NCOC has urged the general public to complete their vaccination process without any delay, as abundant Sinopharm vaccine doses are available at the vaccination centres.
