Drishyam 2 Advance Booking Final Report: Ajay Devgn starrer sells tickets worth Rs. 6.50 crores in advance for the opening day

Drishyam 2 has recorded better advances than films like RRR (Hindi), 83 (Hindi), and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (Hindi) and is headed for a big opening day number at the box office. While a Rs. 15 crore start was a far-fetched dream until the start of this week, the number now seems achievable as Drishyam 2 may emerge as the biggest surprise of this season.

The trailer did wonders for the film and the strong recall value of the franchise has helped it clock great anticipation in the audience. Vijay Salgaonkar and his story has become popular with the metro audience and Drishyam is proving to be a big brand in the top 8 cities, which is also reflected in the advance booking numbers.

Drishyam 2 initial talk is positive and hence, we also expect a great walk-in audience for the film with good jumps over the weekend. A Rs. 50 crore weekend seems on the cards for the Ajay Devgn film.
