SS Rajamouli’s RRR is rising and roaring at the box office as according to early estimates, the movie has collected Rs. 14.50 to Rs. 16.00 crores on Tuesday to take the five day total to Rs. 105 crores in the Hindi belt. The movie has emerged as the third consecutive Rs. 100 crore earner for director SS Rajamouli, whose last two films, Baahubali and Baahubali 2 had also set the box office on fire.

The movie is rock solid across the nation, with Gujarat, Mumbai and Bihar being the best faring circuits. Delhi too is holding well, and this is an encouraging sign as the circuit does not usually perform for South dubbed films, Baahubali being an exception. RRR has emerged the first 100 crore hit for both, Jr. NTR and Ram Charan.

RRR is now headed towards an opening week of Rs. 130 crore, which is an excellent trend. This trend has also given RRR a shot at going past Rs. 200 crore club in just 2 weeks, and can aim at a lifetime total that’s more than Rs. 225 crore. The distributor, Pen Studios, requires Rs. 180 crore nett total from Hindi belts to be in the black, and this mark will be done with ease, probably within the 10 day run.

RRR has also emerged as the fifth successful film of the pandemic after Sooryavanshi, Pushpa, Gangubai Kathiawadi and The Kashmir Files. SS Rajamouli has emerged as the biggest brand and the biggest director of Indian cinema following the success of RRR. The stakes were high and yet he has delivered, which is nothing but a sign of excellence.
