Prime Minister’s Adviser on Accountability Shahzad Akbar on Tuesday responded to the claims made by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) that its president Shehbaz Sharif has been acquitted by a London court, saying there was no money laundering case against the PML-N chief in the United Kingdom.
In a tweet, Akbar shared the copy of the court order, saying the UK’s National Crime Agency (NCA) was investigating the bank account of Suleman Shahbaz over “two suspicious transactions”.

Akbar further said that reports regarding the acquittal of the PML-N chief were factually incorrect as the order didn’t even pertain to Shehbaz Sharif.
