FAISALABAD – Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) sealed five illegal colonies in Tandlianwala and demolished their structures and sales offices on Friday. FDA spokesperson said Estate Officer Imtiaz Ali Goraya along with the enforcement team conducted raid in Tandlianwala and found five colonies–Gulberg City, Lyallpur City, Paradise Valley, Sun City-II and Sadiq Town, developed illegally without completing code requirement and prior permission from the concerned department. The team sealed premises and demolished their illegal structures and sales offices. FDA officer warned developers of these colonies to get their schemes egalized before selling any plot in it, otherwise, they would be sent behind the bars.
Robbers in police uniform loot house
Robbers dressed in police uniform looted items including gold, cash from a house in Chak 25-JB. Chak Jhumra police said on Friday that six bandits including 2 of them in police uniforms barged into the house of one Nawaz in Chak No 25-JB and took all residents hostage. They looted 5-tola gold jewelry, Rs200,000/-, 3 mobile phones, 2 motorcycles and other items and fled the scene.
Three beggars arrested
SARGODHA (Staff Reporter): Police arrested three professional beggars during its campaign against the menace of begging, a police spokesperson said on Friday. Following the direction of DPO Zulfiqar Ahmed, a team of Bhalwal city police station headed by SHO Muhammad Naseem conducted raids in various areas and nabbed three beggars—Ijaz Ahmed, Muhammad Nawaz and Sher Muhammad.
Cases were registered under the provisions of the Beggars Act.
