After a defeat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Dr. Hasham Inamullah wrote a letter to Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan against Ali Amin Gandapur.
As per details, Hasham Inamullah mentioned that Ali Amin Gandapur gave party tickets to his opponents in the constituency. He said that at Lakki Marwat party tickets were given to people who were not even party members.
He further requested that the PM must take notice of the incident as various conspiracies his constituency is being used to malign the party’s name.
He added that Ali Amin did not consult him while distributing party tickets and violated party’s ethical code.
It is pertinent to mention here that despite being in power in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) suffered a major setback after Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) candidate Zubair Ali defeated PTI candidate Rizwan Khan Bangash in the city mayoral elections. According to the unofficial results, the JUI-F candidate secured 62,388 votes while the PTI s Rizwan Bangash could grab only 50,659 votes.
