ISLAMABAD – President Dr Arif Alvi has said that his wife is better and like all spouses he was taking care of her.
In a tweet on Saturday, the president said he was increasing his numbers in taking care of his wife but he could not do better than his daughter who had come from Dubai at the drop of a hat.
Dr Alvi has urged the countrymen to keep his wife in their prayers and continue taking their precautions to stay safe from Covid-19. The wife of president, Samina Alvi said on Thursday that she had tested positive for Covid-19. “I was tested positive for Covid, day before,” said the president’s wife on Twitter and added that she was “doing well” and was only experiencing some weakness.
Samina also requested her well-wishers to remember her in their prayers. In March, President Alvi was tested positive for the virus and suffered from mild symptoms of the disease. The president had advised the nation to “continue to be careful” to avoid an infection from the virus.
