Peshawar – Qaumi Watan Party Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chairman Sikandar Hayat Sherpao on Saturday claimed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government was “unsuccessfully trying to hide its incompetency.”
Addressing a gathering in Tangi tehsil in Charsadda district, he said, “The country is facing unprecedented price-hike owing to the flawed policies of the incumbent rulers. The PTI is incapable of reviving the economy and controlling inflation. The PTI has miserably failed to turn the ailing economy around in its three-year rule.”
On the occasion, several workers of the PTI including Sardar Hussain, Faqir Said, Khanzada, Sherzada, Zubair Shah, Sultan Mohammad and others announced to join the QWP. They reposed confidence in the QWP leadership and vowed to strengthen the party. The QWP leader welcomed the new entrants into the party fold and offered them tri-colour party caps.
Sikandar Sherpao accused the PTI government of paying lip service to the issue of inflation instead of taking tangible steps to provide relief to the have-nots.
The QWP leader claimed that the PTI government had reneged on its election pledges and failed to implement its so-called agenda of change. “The country is lurching from one crisis to another due to the incompetence of the government as it lacks the vision to tackle the prevailing challenges,” he pointed out.
