5.31pm That’s stumps on day three. What an engrossing day of Test cricket. It started with Pujara and Rahane cruising to their half-centuries before a fiery spell from Rabada from the two and Pant. Thakur and Vihari took India’s lead past 200. Set 240 to win, Markram and Elgar started positively. Once Markram departed, Petersen and Elgar stuck around to add another 46. Elgar took many a blow but ensured he will be around tomorrow as well, with South Africa needing 122 more with eight wickets in hand. A couple of quick wickets can still bring India back into the game but so far South Africa has showed great fighting spirit. That’s all from our side for now. We will be back tomorrow to take this to completion. See you then.
Shaheed: “Woah, we’re half way there. Woah, livin’ on a prayer”
Michael W: “Something really needs to done about the over rates, from both sides. I say if they can’t do 90 overs in the amount of time they have, then the next day they need to start earlier to make up the overs. I’m sure in past teams did 90 overs with 30 less minutes playing time, how can modern teams not do this?”
DanCdnFan: “Bowling is (and been) RELENTLESS from both sides. And thus, this is far far far from decided.”
Dheeraj: “SA’s day I reckon. India win only if Bumrah gets his radar spot on. “
