OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) – UPDATE 11/18:
Officers have arrested a 42-year-old woman in the attempted armed robbery of a McDonald’s in Outagamie County.
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office identified the suspect as Melissa Mann.
On Nov. 16, deputies responded to an attempted armed robbery at the McDonald’s restaurant on Wally Way in the Village of Greenville.
Officials say Mann drove up to the drive-thru window and threatened an employee with a gun. It was later found to be a CO2-powered BB gun. The employee was not hurt.
One of the employees described the suspect as having a black eye. The Sheriff’s Office obtained surveillance video showing the suspect vehicle.
On Nov. 17, investigators developed leads and identified the suspect as Melissa Mann. She lives about a half-mile from the McDonald’s.
Mann was taken into custody. The Sheriff’s Office says she admitted to the attempted robbery.
A search warrant was executed at her home and officers found the BB gun.

Investigators are looking for a suspect in an attempted armed robbery at a McDonald’s in the Town of Greenville.
It happened Nov. 16 at the restaurant at W6308 Wally Way.
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office says no one was hurt.
Investigators are looking for a 2007-2013 silver Nissan Rogue with damage to the driver’s side doors and rear passenger bumper. The Sheriff’s Office says the damage appears to be older as it was covered in tape.
