The much talked about and massively anticipated film Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt released over a week ago. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film, which saw a release across over 5000 screens in India, came with immense hopes and expectations. Living up to the same, Brahmastra opened on a good note, and continued to dominate the box office over its opening weekend and first week.

Now, after its second weekend in theatres, Brahmastra, which has seen another spike in collections, has managed to make it past the Rs. 200 cr mark in just 10 days of its release. Collecting Rs. 208 cr in 10 days, Brahmastra has managed to become the 28th film to enter the Rs. 200 cr club. Looking at Ranbir Kapoor’s box office track record with Brahmastra collecting Rs. 208 cr the actor now joins the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh and Hrithik Roshan to have two films each that have entered the Rs. 200 cr club.

Currently, Brahmastra continues to run in theatres and with little to no competition from other releases, the Ranbir Kapoor starrer is expected to continue its box office run. Looking at the current tred, trade predictions state that the business of Brahmastra will hold strong over its second week running, and could even draw closer to the Rs. 250 cr mark.
