The much talked about and immensely promoted film KGF – Chapter 2 was released a while back to a thunderous response from the audience. After a stellar start the business of the Yash starrer saw exponential growth in collections fast emerging as one of the biggest money-spinners of the year.

In this box office report, we look at the collections of KGF – Chapter 2 within the Delhi – U.P circuit while comparing the same to previous releases. Not surprisingly, KGF 2 while has enjoyed massive trending has emerged as the third highest all-time grosser in this circuit with a collection of Rs. 73.38 cr. In fact, KGF 2 has managed to perform better than certain other big ticket releases like, Bajrangi Bhaijaan which collected Rs. 70.6 cr., Sanju which collected Rs. 70.56 cr., Tiger Zinda Hai which collected Rs. 70.14 cr. and others.

Going forward, with KGF – Chapter 2 not being affected much by the new releases Runway 34 and Heropanti 2, the business of the film will continue to see growth. In fact, it is likely to fast surpass the collections of Dangal which had collected Rs. 80.25 cr. within the Delhi – U.P circuit.

As of now, trade predictions state that KGF – Chapter 2 look set to enjoy yet another money spinning weekend with another jump in collections expected on Eid.
