The Vivek Agnihotri-directed film The Kashmir Files starring Anupam Kher was released a while back. Since then there has been no stopping the film at the box office. In fact, with each passing day the business of The Kashmir Files has been seeing exponential growth managing to cross the highly coveted Rs. 200 cr mark in just 13 days of its release.

Interestingly, The Kashmir Files that collected Rs. 200.13 cr in 13 days has managed to achieve a new record of sorts. With the entry of the film in the Rs. 200 cr club, The Kashmir Files has now become the first-ever march release to achieve this feat. Looking at the yearly calendar, the month of December has recorded the highest number of films to cross Rs. 200 cr at the box office, with 7 ventures making it past this benchmark, while the months of January, June, July, and October have each recorded 3 films crossing Rs. 200 cr. Now with The Kashmir Files crossing Rs. 200 cr, the months of March and April are the two months that feature one release each that has achieved this feat.

As for the film, The Kashmir Files which has shown no signs of slowing down at the box office is expected to continue its run. However, with the mega release RRR slated to hit screens this Friday in a multitude of formats the business of the Anupam Kher starrer is likely to see a dip in collections.
