Peshawar – Special Assistant to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Information Kamran Bangash on Saturday inaugurated the magnificent new building of Shaheed Haris Nawaz High School during a simple but impressive ceremony at Dalazak Road, Zaryab Colony, part of his constituency, in Peshawar.
Reconstruction of this government high school has been completed in record time at a cost of Rs65million. In addition to the classrooms required to accommodate more students, two well-equipped science laboratories, a spacious examination hall and a masjid is also included.
The ceremony was attended besides others by concerned officials of the Education and Communication and Works Departments, school teachers, students, parents, local elites and PTI workers in large number.
Speaking on the occasion, Kamran Bangash clarified that in Peshawar, facilities in all sectors including education, health and sanitation are being enhanced as well as schools, colleges and health centres are being brought in line with the requirements of modern times.
Similarly, in order to improve the environment of Peshawar, the government besides plantation drives and setting up additional parks, is also taking concrete steps to enhance the beauty of the city, he added.
Later, Kamran Bangash inspected the building of Haris Nawaz Shaheed High School.
He visited the ongoing classes in the school and met the students and teachers and inquired about their problems.
