ISLAMABAD – Four Pak Army soldiers embraced martyrdom as the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Mir Ali, North Waziristan Division on reported presence of terrorists, said media wing of the military on Friday.
According to the details, the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Mir Ali, North Waziristan Division, on reported presence of terrorists. One of the terrorists was apprehended along with weapons and ammunition. However, “during intense exchange of fire, four soldiers embraced shahadat,” said the ISPR.
The martyred army men include Havaldar Munawar, age 40 years, resident of Bahawalnagar; Sepoy Zaka Ullah, age 31 years, resident of Laki Marwat; Sepoy Farhan, age 34 years, resident of Kohat, and Sepoy Sheraz, age 30 years, resident of Abbottabad.
Two terrorists killed in an intelligence based operation in Tank: ISPR
In another operation, the security forces conducted an IBO in Tank on reported presence of terrorists. Two Terrorists killed during the IBO were identified as Shahzeb alias Zakir and Daniyal. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered. These Terrorists were involved in terrorist activities against security forces, target killing and kidnapping for ransom, said the ISPR press release.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan Friday expressed his condolence over the martyrdom of four personnel of the Pakistan Army during an anti-terror operation in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan.
The prime minister applauded the services of Pakistan’s armed forces for the elimination of terrorism.
He said the whole nation was united in this war and the enemy was faced with a brave nation which always remained steadfast in every difficult time.
