The Ayan Mukherji directorial Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt hit screens yesterday. Said to be one of this year’s biggest release the film which also features Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy with special appearances from Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, took off to a good start. In fact, Brahmastra, whose advance bookings started nearly a week before release witnessed a good spate of ticket sales. Now, for its second day running, we hear that the business of the film looks set to feature good collection figures.

Brahmastra Advance Booking Report: Film crosses Rs. 20 cr. gross in advance ticket sales for Day 2

As per reports, Brahmastra has seen its advance ticket sales of Day 2 remain more or less stable, despite the less than appreciative reviews. In fact, reports suggest that Brahmastra has crossed the Rs. 20 cr. gross mark in advance ticket sales alone for its second day. This coupled with fact that most locations will see an increase in spot bookings over the evening and night shows, it is expected that the business of Brahmastra will see an increase.

Currently, trade predicts a good opening weekend collection window for Brahmastra, claiming that the business of the film will continue to see growth.
