The Kangana Ranaut action entertainer Dhaakad hit screens on Friday.  In the overseas markets, it has released across 300+ screens. However, despite the promotions the film faced a tough time enticing the audience. With less than appreciative reviews and low key audience word of mouth the film has been facing an uphill task at the box office. The movie had a disastrous start in the overseas markets especially in New Zealand on Day 1 where it collected a paltry Rs. 22,022. On Day 2, it failed to show a substantial growth collecting Rs. 44,823 from 11 screens.
