KGF – Chapter 2 is proving to be an unimaginable box office monster, as the film is defying all competitors to leave a mark and conquer the ticket windows. The Yash film has jumped by 60% on its third Sunday. According to early estimates, the movie has collected in the range of Rs. 11.25 to Rs. 11.75 crores.

KGF – Chapter Day 2 Box Office Estimate Day 18 Headed towards Rs. 400 crores; collects Rs. 11.5 cr. on Sunday

The 18 day total of KGF 2 now stands at approx. Rs. 371 crore plus and it is fast running to surpass the lifetime collections of Aamir Khan’s Dangal, which is at present the highest grossing Bollywood film of all time with collections of Rs. 387.38 crore. The movie is a rage across India and will be taking away the showcasing from competition at multiple single screens from Monday, which will help the film pose a massive total on the Eid Holiday.

While Monday collections of KGF 2 will be around Rs. 3.25 crore, there will be a massive spike on Tuesday on account of Eid as it would be the first choice for a large amount of Muslim population, who could not watch the film in the first two weeks due to Ramazan period. Dangal will be a history by Tuesday and if it does as well as we expect, it is sure to zoom into the Rs. 400 crore club by end of third week or at max on fourth Friday.

KGF 2 will be the 2nd highest grossing film of all time in the Hindi belts after Bahubali 2, which sits at the top with a collection of Rs. 510.99 crore. Interestingly, the top two grossers in Hindi charts will be non Hindi films i.e. regional language films dubbed in Hindi – basically, the two films have redefined regional cinema by positioning them as true blue Indian Films.
