The Yash fronted gangster drama was the best faring film at the box office on the Eid day despite being in its third week. According to estimates, the film has shown a 100% growth over Monday to collect in the range of Rs. 8.25 to 8.60 crores.

With this, it has surpassed the total collections of Dangal [Hindi version] to become the second highest grossing film of all time in the Hindi belts. Be it single screens or multiplexes, KGF – Chapter 2 was the first choice for audience across the country. It will stay steady on Wednesday too on account of Basi Eid and is on its course to enter Rs. 400 crore club soon.

KGF 2 has proved to be theatrical monster, and is not looking to stop any time soon in the Hindi belts. Its this film that has given a small little Eidi to exhibitors in Hindi belts, as it was a no show for two Eid releases of Bollywood – Runway 34 and Heropanti 2. The third week collections of KGF 2 will be among the highest of all time.
