KGF – Chapter 2 Box Office: Film collects Rs. 122.93 cr. in the Mumbai circuit till date :Bollywood Box Office – Bollywood Hungama

The Yash starrer KGF – Chapter 2 which released a while back has been doing well at the box office. After a thunderous start the business of the film went on to cross not only the Rs. 100 cr. but the Rs. 200 cr, and Rs. 300 cr. mark as well. Now, after just 23 days running the film has made it past the Rs. 400 cr. mark as well.

In this box office report, we look at the collections of KGF – Chapter 2 within the Mumbai circuit while comparing the same to previous releases. Collecting Rs. 122.93 cr. in the Mumbai circuit KGF 2 has become the third highest grosser in this territory. In fact, the collections of the Yash starrer in Mumbai have surpassed previous releases like Tiger Zinda Hai which collected Rs. 109.08 cr, PK which collected Rs. 105.2 cr, Dangal which collected Rs. 104.22 cr, and Sanju which collected Rs. 102.39 cr. However, the business of KGF 2 does not surpass Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion which collected Rs. 191.58 cr and Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior which collected Rs. 136.94 cr.

Going forward, it is more than likely that the business of KGF – Chapter 2 in the Mumbai circuit will surpass the collections of Tanhaji. However, with the new Hollywood releases the business of the Yash starrer is expected to slow down considerably.
