There has been no stopping The Kashmir Files that was released on Friday last week. In fact, the Vivek Agnihotri directorial has been taking in the moolah with each passing day. After a strong first-day collection of Rs. 3.55 cr, the business of the film has been seeing exponential growth with each passing day. Initially released across just 650 screens The Kashmir Files saw an increase in the total number of screens and shows as well to meet audience demand.

The Kashmir Files Box Office Collections: Vivek Agnihotri directorial beats Sooryavanshi and Gangubai Kathiawadi; becomes highest first Tuesday grosser post pandemic

Now on its first Tuesday running the business of The Kashmir Files has seen yet another jump in collections. After drawing in Rs. 15.05 cr on Day 4, its first Monday, the Tuesday business of the film saw a further Rs. 18 cr being added to its business. Interestingly when compared to previous releases that have hit screens post the pandemic The Kashmir Files has topped the charts by surpassing the first Tuesday collections of Sooryavanshi that collected Rs. 11.22 cr, Gangubai Kathiawadi that collected Rs. 10.01 cr, and 83 that has collected Rs. 6.70 cr. With this, The Kashmir Files has become the highest first Tuesday grosser among post-pandemic releases.

Going further, looking at the current growth trend, estimates predict that The Kashmir Files could well see its business near, if not cross the Rs. 100 cr mark by the end of its first week. In fact, it will come as no surprise if the film ends up becoming one of the highest grossers of 2022.
