The Anupam Kher film The Kashmir Files released three weeks ago has been holding strong at the box office despite new releases in the form of Bachchhan Paandey and RRR hitting screens. After raking in the moolah, the collections of the film, which crossed the Rs. 200 cr mark in 13 days, has been chugging its way to the Rs. 250 cr target.

In fact, the business of the film has managed to overshadow the collections of previous releases like Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1 which collected Rs. 25.40 cr, Sooryavanshi which collected Rs. 18.68 cr, Gnagubai Kathiawadi that collected Rs. 16.25 cr, and 83 which had collected Rs. 5.27 cr.

Currently, The Kashmir Files continues to run but is expected to face further competition with the John Abraham starrer Attack – Part 1 hitting screens this Friday. However, despite this trade predictions remain optimistic stating that the business of The Kashmir Files will continue to inch closer to the Rs. 250 cr mark.
