QUETTA:
At least 13 people were injured in a blast in Quetta on Friday, according to police.
The police officials said unidentified miscreants lobbed a hand grenade on Sabzal Road which left 13 people injured.
The law enforcers have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to arrest the culprits.
The injured were rushed to the Civil Hospital Quetta.
The sources said police patrolling vehicle could be the potential target of the attack. Fortunately, no policeman was harmed in the explosion.
The attackers sped away on their motorcycle unchecked after the attack.
Waseem Baig, the spokesperson of Civil Hospital Quetta, confirmed receiving 13 injured.
