
Islamabad – Prime Minister Imran Khan while reviewing the political situation in the country expressed the hope that his government would complete the five years term and said opposition is not a threat to the PTI government.
Chairing party spokespersons and party leaders meeting Prime Minister Imran Khan directed party and government spokespersons to project the achievements of the government for the masses and counter false narrative being disseminated against the government.
The meeting was also briefed about the Rana Shamim case at Islamabad High Court. Prime Minister Imran Khan commenting on the case said the court has further exposed the Sharif family.
“There is no doubt that the affidavit was notarised at the office of the son of Nawaz Sharif”, PM Imran Khan stated.
Prime Minister termed the Sharif family a mafia and said they are fighting now for their survival and propagating against his government.
“The Sharif family is fighting for their survival and the PTI government is fighting for the survival of the people”, PM Imran Khan said.
The report of British magazine “The economist” was also shared before the meeting, which appreciated Pakistan performance in dealing with covid.
On economic indicators presented by the economist, the meeting said Pakistan is facing economic pressure and high inflation due to the global economic situation, which would be controlled in the months to come due to measures being taken.
Earlier, Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjarani called on the Prime Minister Imran Khan at the PM office. During the meeting, the Prime MInister offered condolences to Sanjrani over the sudden and tragic demise of his younger brother.
During the meeting Karachi-Quetta RCD dulaisation project also came under discussion. matters related to CPEC also came under discussion.
PTI MNA Fazal Muhammad also met Prime Minister Imran Khan and discussed matters related to PTI in KPK.
Ravi Urban development and central districts projects: Prime MInister Imran Khan also chaired a meeting to review progress on Ravi Urban Development and Central Business District projects today.
The Prime Minister emphasized that these projects are of vital importance for the country and particularly Lahore.
He added that the Government has no self-interest and is working for the welfare of citizens of Lahore.
The Prime Minister said that our Government has revitalized dead capital to earn revenues and has initiated landmark construction projects that no previous government planned in the last 20 years.
The Prime Minister stated that these projects will substantially reduce pollution levels due to inclusion of green spaces, waste management, clean energy sources and eco-friendly international best practices.
