The Denver Broncos have activated linebacker Bradley Chubb off injured reserve, the team announced Saturday.
Chubb, who had surgery after Week 2 to remove a bone spur in his left ankle, has practiced this week and is eligible to play vs. the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
Broncos coach Vic Fangio on Friday said that if Chubb does play, the Broncos would keep a close eye on his snaps.
Chubb had missed practices late in training camp with the injury and did not play in the season opener .
Chubb was selected to his first Pro Bowl last season. He has 20.5 sacks in 35 games since being selected fifth overall by the Broncos in the 2018 draft.
